Application of the method of extraction rays to four-component condensed systems with restricted existence region of two liquid phases
Creators
Description
Description technique for stratification range of four-component condensed systems based on consideration of one of liquid phases as extract, the second one - as raffinate, and of two solid components as extracted substance and salting-out agent is suggested. Extraction rays is built in two projections within rectangular coordinate system in composition diagram of one of liquid phases. Distribution coefficients of each component correspond to each point of the ray, these coefficients are put down in pairs to projections of corresponding point in order to simplify the procedure. Technique is illustrated using MgSO4 - H3BO3 - PEG-1500(PEG-15000) - H2O systems at 25 deg C, where PEG - polyethylene glycols with different molecular mass
