Description
The purpose of this project is to develop a safety assessment which can be applied in regulatory criteria study and licensing for such facility. The contents and scope of this project can be summarized as follows: selection of the proper performance criteria, modeling study for the behavior of natural and man-made barriers during normal and accident conditions, and the radionuclide movement following the release, quantitative assessment considering uncertainties of the predictive modeling, identification of important parameters by performing sensitivity analysis, a study on the relationship between regulatory criteria and performance assessment results
