Description

Interaction of cadmium chloride and Broensted bases of different strengths in systems CdCl2-B-H-2O (B-sodium hydroxide, diethylamine, monoethanol amine) was studied by the method of measuring residual concentrations of Cd+, B and Cl-, as well as density of liquid phases. Formation ranges of cadmium hydroxochlorides of constant composition (Cd(OH)Cl, Cd(OH)1.33Cl0.67, Cd(OH)1.50Cl0.50) and cadmium hydroxide, depending on the base strength, were ascertained. It is found that with a decrease in the base strength fa decrease in the maximum value of hydroxylic number in low-soluble products of interaction is observed
