Approximate equation of activity coefficients of electrolytes

Description
Possibility of conducting approximate estimates of activity coefficients of electrolytes (salts of strontium, lithium, cesium, uranyl, etc) in concentrated solutions with accuracy sufficient for technological as well as scientific purposes is analyzed. The model of solvated electrolyte was used as the base approximation model. It is shown that the equation applied for estimates makes it possible to describe the properties with an average error of approximation not exceeding 3 %. Introduction of corrective parameter is required only in the area of high concentrations. 10 refs.; 1 tab
