Description
Differential cross sections for the production of the 478 keV γ-ray from the interaction of reactor fast neutrons with 7Li have been measured at 550, 900 and 1250 angles relative to the incident neutron beam. Secondary neutrons have also been observed at 00 and 1800 by large NE-213 scintillation detectors. The direct time-of-flight (n,n') cross section values were deduced at these two angles relative to the standard values of 847(2+) keV level in 56Fe. The results were compared with the available experimental, theoretical and evaluated data. (author)
