Effect of glycine on solubility of tetraborates of lithium, sodium and potassium in water

Description
Solubility and refractive index of saturated solutions in systems lithium (sodium, potassium), tetraborate-glycine-water at 25 deg C are studied. The systems are of simple eutonic type. It is ascertained, that glycine has a positive lyotropic effect on tetraborates, increasing from lithium salt to potassium one
