Convention on assistance in the case of a nuclear accident or radiological emergency
Description
The convention was adopted by the general conference of the IAEA meeting in special session at Vienna on the 26th September 1986. The instrument of ratification with declaration was deposited by Australia on 22 September 1986. At the time of depositing its instrument of ratification Australia made the following declaration: declaring, as permitted under Article 8.9 of the convention, that Australia will not be bound by Articles 8.2 and 8.3
