Description
The technical and programmatic objectives of fusion nuclear technology development are being addressed in a study called FINESSE. The study is identifying the issues, quantifying the test requirements, developing engineering scaling relationships and evaluating non-fusion and fusion facilities for nuclear testing. The results are found to be of fundamental importance to developing successful scenarios for overall fusion development. (author)
