Description

Specifications, a block diagram and electron beam characteristics are reported for a linear high-frequency accelerator for pulsed radiolysis with the mean electron energy of 3.7+-0.25 MeV installed in the Electron Accelerator Laboratory of the Nuclear Research Institute, Rez. Also described is a spectrophotometric line for pulsed radiolysis. Examples of application are given and a toroidal dosemeter for dose measurement in each pulse is discussed. The programme of the Laboratory is indicated involving pulsed radiolysis, technical irradiation and accelerated electron dosimetry. (J.B.)
