Description
Fast evolution and implementation of new mobile communication standards require more accurate estimations of electromagnetic field strength for the purpose of checking electromagnetic compatibility of different systems. This paper discusses result of application of the method based on Kirchhoff integral for estimation of the electromagnetic field scattered by Earth's surface. Reasons of higher accuracy of this method in comparison with geometrical optics are discussed. (paper)
