Creep of irradiated austenitic Kh16N15M3B steels at temperatures 300-7000C

Description

Dependence of the fixed creep rate of irradiated austenitic Kh16N15M3B steels upon stress σ and temperature T was investigated. The tests were conducted in the RBT-6 reactor with the fast neutron flux density φ=3x1017m-2s-1 (E>0.1 MeV) and partially (with stresses below the yield limit σr) in the SM-2 reactor with φ=2x1018m-2xs-1 and T=300-7000C. The fixed creep rate of alloys under investigation can be described by the following relationship: ε=(Bo+Bxk)σ+Aσnxexp(-U/8,31T), where A,B,B0,n are factors, U is the energy of activation, K is the rate of radiation damage. Factor A depends on φ, and also on the neutron fluence at T=300-5000C. The dependence describes all the mass of data according to different steel modifications with one and the same basis within a wide range of stresses and temperatures. 4 refs.; 2 figs.; 1 tab.
