Description
Optical properties of equiatomic RhSc and PdSc compounds at E=0.08-10 eV photon energies were studied. Self-consistent linear APW method was used to calculate electron energy spectra, frequency dependences of optical conductivity and the real part of complex dielectric permittivity of these compounds. Role of electron excitations of (d-d, p)- and (d-f, p)-types in formation of main bands of interzone absorption was established on the basis of correlation of theoretical and experimental data
