Gamma radiation in inelastic neutron scattering by 60Ni nuclei

Description
Angular distributions of γ-rays following inelastic neutron scattering have been measured for 60Ni in the range from 1.91 to 3.02 MeV. The 1.332 and 0.827 MeV γ-rays were observed for 60Ni. Time-of-flight techniques were used to suppress the γ-background. The experimental results are compared with the values calculated using the Hauser-Feshbach-Moldauer model
