Description

Specifications for the fabrication of a rotating anode for X-ray tubes are given. By covering the non-target side of the anode with compacted layers of aluminium oxide and titanium oxide on a molybdenum carrier layer, the temperature of the anode is decreased which enhances its lifetime and load capacity
