Kinetics of model reactions of hetgeneous catalysis

Qualitative and numerical analysis of typical nunlinear mechanisms of heterogeneous-catalytic reactions, in particular, reactions of CO oxidation on Ru and other platinum group metals is carried out. Interpretation of critical phenomena (multiplicity of stationary states and auto-oscillations of reaction velocity) experimentally revealed in a number of reactions is given. A rigorous theory of slow-relaxation of dynamic systems, in particular, kinetic models of catalytic reactions is presented. A kinetic model of CO oxidation reaction, including chemisorption stages of O2 and CO and their interaction on the platinum metal surfaces, is considered
