Spontaneous rupture of an AV aneurysm of the right renal artery
- 1. Middelheim Hospital, Antwerp (Belgium). Dept. of Radiology
- 2. Middelheim Hospital, Antwerp (Belgium). Dept. of Anatomopathology
Description
A 58-year old woman was admitted to our hospital with acute pain in the right flank area where a well circumscribed mass could be palpated. Typical symptoms of a saccular renal artery aneurysm are rare. A rupture of the aneurysm is suspected when the triad of haematuria, flank mass and abdominal pain occurs. (orig./GDG)
