Prospects for a uranium enrichment industry in Australia
Description
Characteristics of the uranium enrichment industry are outlined. At the end of 1979 a joint venture was established between four large Australian companies forming the Uranium Enrichment Group of Australia. UEGA is carrying out a study into the commercial prospects for enrichment. Setting up of an enrichment industry will assist local employment in several industries and will enhance export income
