Can the myth be maintained? - understanding the economics of Sizewell B

The cost of electricity generated by Sizewell-B is discussed as this has been the model for the economic arguments in favour of the proposed Hinkley Point C pressurised water station. However, since the Energy Select Committee report concluding that electricity from Sizewell-B will be substantially dearer than from coal-fired stations was published public justification is now expressed in terms of benefits to the environment.
