Study of a PWR component cooling water system by the DISCO methodology

  • 1. CEA Centre d'Etudes Nucleaires de Saclay, 91 - Gif-sur-Yvette (France)

Description

The determination of importance sensitivity of components (DISCO) method is to rank the components of a system. The method was applied to the study of a PWR component cooling water system, connected to the residual heat removal system, using the S.R.D.F. data. Due to several redundancies this system has degraded situations and different working conditions. The study implies the generalisation of the method to Markov graphs and the influence of other coupled systems. (DG)
