Crystallochemical conditions of existence of A6B10o30 type complex oxides with tetragonal potassium-tungsten bronze structure

Description
24 new niobium-tantalum-containing oxides with the tetragonal potassim-tungsten bronze structure are synthesized, their symmetry and unit cell parameters are determined. It is found that A6B10O130 oxides do not belong to the tetragonal potassaum-tungsten bronze structure, if A are atoms of p- or ds- and/or fs-elements. Geometrical conditions for existence of compleX oxides in the given structure taking into accoUnt the electron configuration of atoms are specified
