Low frequency radio observations of the Andromeda Galaxy

Description

Radio observations of M31 and its halo are presented at 73.8, 111.5, and 196.5 MHz. These observations were performed with the NAIC l000-ft radio telescope. Brightness-temperature contour maps are presented and the spectrum of M3 1 and its halo are discussed. It may be possible that the spectrum of the observed region flattens out at frequencies <200 MHz.
