Development of ecologically safe technology of technetium-99m production for nuclear medicine

Description
Problems of technetium production in high-current electron accelerator, as the main reagent for radiopharmaceuticals, are reviewed. The results of nuclear-physical studies of this technology are exposed. Proposed technology permits to produce 99mTc in ecologically safe conditions at comparatively inexpensive accelerators
