Acoustic anisotropy of cadmium pyroniobate crystal in a paraelectric phase
Creators
Description
The aim of the paper is the study on temperature changes in acoustic anisotropy in the paraelectrical cadmium pyroniobate crystal phase. Elastic constants C11, C12 and C44 and their temperature dependences for the cubic paraphase are calculated. Attenuation of elastic waves was measured by the method of pulse comparison at 90 mHz frequency. Calculation of rate surface was carried out by means of Crystoffel equation solution for the given direction of propagation. Investigation of temperature dependences of acoustic anisotropy demonstrates that, when moving to the point of phase transition, deep changes in surfaces of attenuation takes place and only weak ones - rate surfaces
