Conflicting aims in the LWR APWR reactor strategy
Description
The characteristics of the initial dynamics of a reactor strategy will be described which is based on Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor (APWR) and/or Fast Breeders (FBR) as successors of the Light Water Reactors (LWR). Hereby the dilemma between the growth rate of the reactor population, the costs of the electricity production and the time dependent degree of the natural uranium utilization is discussed quantitatively. Abstract (German)
(orig.)Additional details
