Heterogeneous Deformation of Copper in Shock Waves at Subgrain Scale Level

Description
The paper presents results of study of deformation of heterogeneous structure in copper deformed at intergrainular scale level (L∼1-50μm). Formation of heterogeneous structure is re-corded at shock-wave loading with wave intensity σx>20GPa and at shockless deformation at rate ε ∼ 106 s-1. Density of the formed periodic structure grows with increase of loading intensity
