  • 1. Association Euratom-CEA, Centre d'Etudes Nucleaires de Cadarache, 13 - Saint-Paul-lez-Durance (France). Dept. de Recherches sur la Fusion Controlee

Description

The results obtained from the Thomson scattering systems on Tore Supra are presented. It is a 12-point, multipulse Thomson scattering system for the main plasma and a 3-point, high resolution single shot system for the peripheral plasma. The multi-pulse system uses a laser source made-up of 3 Nd: YAG modules and the single-pulse system uses a 20 J Nd: YAG oscillator/Nd: glass amplifier. The spectrometers, the detectors and the calibration procedures are summarized
