On-line analysis speeds uranium ore assays in central African empire

Swiss Aluminium Ltd. has been carrying out feasibility study into the uranium deposits at Bakouma in the Central African Empire. Using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry it has been possible to analyze a large number of ore samples with minimum labor and at low cost. 2 refs
