Description
The objective of this study was to assessing land sustainability for Ground Water Recharge for Bangalore North Taluk, Karnataka, India. The land topographic and physiochemical characteristics evaluated base on parametric method and Geographical Information System (GIS) techniques were used to develop land suitability map for ground water recharge of the study area. Based on the availability different type of soil and physical and chemical parameters area mainly influencing the ground water recharge most of the area covered with rock terrain but surface of the earth holding some amount of water for recharge causing recharge of ground water sustainability and management in hard terrain in the study area.
