L-subshell alignment of Ta and Lu induced by protons

Description
L3-subshell alignment and L1 line polarization of Ta and Lu induced by protons in the energy range 0.8-2.0 MeV, has been studied by measuring the angular distribution of L-shell characteristic x-ray. The experimental results are compared with PWBA theory. The picture of characteristic dipole radiation is discussed
