Standardization and decay data of 169Yb

Description
The gamma- and x-ray-emission probabilities per decay of 169Yb were determined from the ratio of the emission rates and the activity. The emission rates were measured with calibrated semiconductor spectrometers and the activity with 4πβ-γ coincidence counting systems and 4πγ-NaI (Tl) high-efficiency-counting device. Measurements of the half life were carried out with a 4πγ ionization chamber. (author)
