Stimulated emission from a relativistic electron beam in a magnetic mirror
Description
Results are presented from numerical simulation of the induced cyclotron emission from a relativistic electron beam in a magnetic mirror field configuration. The results of the numerical experiment agree with theoretical ideas regarding the resonant emission conditions, excited wave frequency, and emission efficiency. 7 refs., 5 figs
