Device for sample temperature control
- 1. Leningradskij Ehlektrotekhnicheskij Inst. (USSR)
Description
A device for controlling and sustaining sample temperature in experiments for positron lifetime measurement is described. A cryostat with liquid nitrogen, an evaporator, a heater and a platinum temperature-sensitive element are main components of the device. The given temperature of a sample is reached by gaseous coolant flow generated by the evaporator. The device allows to control the temperature in range (100-1000)K. The accuracy of temperature maintenance equals 0.15 K. Discrete temperature definition with 1 K step is possible
