Separation of transuranium elements from nuclear fuel reprocessing high level wastes

Description

In order to investigate the performances required for separating transuranium elements, calculations have been carried out taking account of the glass properties for the containment of wastes and of the isotope maximum permissible concentration. Separation by precipitation and solvent extraction have been studied. Different schemes are presented

Afin d'evaluer les performances requises pour cette separation des calculs ont ete effectues en tenant compte des proprietes du verre destine au confinement des dechets et des valeurs de la CMA pour les differents isotopes concernes. Bien que la separation par precipitation ne puisse etre ecartee a priori nous avons oriente nos efforts vers l'extraction par solvant. Divers schemas ont ete envisages
