Lymphoscintigraphy with sup(99m)Tc-rhenium colloid

Description

Clinical significance of lymphoscintigraphy with sup(99m)Tc-rhenium colloid was evaluated in 15 cases of suspected pelvic lymph node disease. The results of lymphoscintigraphy agreed with that of conventional case with lymphography in most cases except for small lesions of lymph node. In one of 4 malignant lymphomas, abnormality was detected by lymphoscintigraphy, but not by 67Ga-scintigraphy. In conclusion, sup(99m)Tc-rhenium scintigraphy can be an useful addition for the evaluation of lymph nodal disease of pelvic region. (author)
