Is quasifission responsible for anomalous fission fragment anisotropies?
- 1. University of Washington, Seattle, Washington 98195-4290 (United States)
Description
The excitation function for the 4n evaporation residue from the 12C+236U reaction has been measured for beam energies between 62 and 73 MeV. The shape and magnitude of the residue excitation function is not consistent with appreciable quasifission competition. copyright 1998 The American Physical Society
