Low-mass dileptons and sea increase in hadron collisions

Description
The lepton pair production in hadron-hadron collisions is considered in the framework of the quark parton model with intrinsic motion of partons. The distribution functions of quarks and quark-antiquark pairs have been calculated using the modified Kuti-Weisskopf model. It is shown that the experimental data on low-mass muon-pair production can be fitted by increasing singnificantly the level of sea quarks in proton. In this case, the sea quarks should carry about 80% of the proton momentum
