Description

We present theoretical predictions and characterization measurements of a quantum simulation system of the Bose-Hubbard-Hamiltonian in the driven dissipative regime in the realm of circuit QED. The system consists of series-connected, capacitively coupled, nonlinear and tunable superconducting resonators. The nonlinearity is achieved by galvanically coupled SQUIDs, placed in the current anti-node of each resonator and can be tuned by external coils and on-chip antennas.
