Subarachnoid hemorrhage: diagnosis and therapy
Description
Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is a devastating event, often with fatal outcome. Radiological methods are indispensable for the diagnosis of SAH and in many places have become the standard in the therapy of intracranial aneurysms. This article reviews the impact of radiological methods on diagnosing SAH and the capabilities and limitations of endovascular therapy. (orig.)

Die Subarachnoidalblutung ist eine schwerwiegende, haeufig zum Tode fuehrende Erkrankung. Radiologische Methoden sind fuer die Diagnostik unverzichtbar und fuer die Therapie der intrakraniellen Aneurysmen vielerorts auch schon Standard. Die folgende Arbeit gibt einen Ueberblick ueber die Wertigkeit der einzelnen radiologischen Methoden bei der Abklaerung der SAB sowie ueber die Moeglichkeiten und Grenzen der endovaskulaeren Therapie (orig.)Additional details
