Description

Objective: To research the clinical value of 18F-FDG coincidence imaging SPECT (γPET) for pulmonary carcinoma. Methods: Thirty patients with pulmonary abnormal lesion were chosen at random for performing 18F-FDG γ PET, then L/B of lesion was calculated semi-quantitatively, finally it was confirmed by diagnosis with other clinical methods. Results: Patients were divided into benign and malignant groups according the diagnosis of other methods, in the malignant group there were 18 patients whose average L/B was 4.488 +- 2.258, in the benign group there were 12 patients whose L/B was 2.764 +- 2.074, the L/B of malignant lesions was significantly higher than that of benign lesions. The best critical point of L/B is 2.0 which distinguished lung cancers from benign diseases. The diagnosis sensitivity of 18F-FDG γPET was 94.4%, specificity 75% and accuracy 80%
