Maxwell's poles and the theory of spinors
Description
A visual description by sets of unit vectors is proposed for states with a definite angular momentum. It is stated that Maxwell theory of real spherical functions and the theory of spinors are closely related. The theory ef spinors is shown to lead to a simple equation, which determines Maxwell poles of different order multipoles
