Description
Last year, energy consumption in Germany fell to a historic low as a result of the Corona pandemic. The following is an up-to-date overview of the German energy market in 2020, which provides a concentrated compilation of the key data on the energy industry. As in previous years, the article not only summarizes general facts on the energy mix, but also goes into detail on the development of the individual energy sources oil, natural gas, lignite and hard coal, nuclear energy and renewables. Furthermore, the price trends on the international markets and in the domestic domestic markets and the development of greenhouse gas emissions.
Abstract (German)
Im vergangenen Jahr ist der Energieverbrauch in Deutschland infolge der Corona-Pandemie auf ein historisches Tief gesunken. Im Folgenden wird ein aktueller Überblick über den deutschen Energiemarkt 2020 gegeben, der eine konzentrierte Zusammenstellung der zentralen Eckdaten der Energiewirtschaft leistet. Wie in den Jahren zuvor fasst der Artikel nicht nur allgemeine Fakten zum Energiemix zusammen, sondern geht auch ausführlich auf die Entwicklung der einzelnen Energieträger Erdöl, Erdgas, Braun- und Steinkohle, Kernenergie sowie regenerative Energien ein. Ferner werden die Preistendenzen auf den internationalen Märkten und im Inland sowie die Entwicklung der Treibhausgas-Emissionen erläutert.Additional details
