Asymptotic form of the temperature profile in cryostabilized superconducting systems
Description
Sufficient conditions are found for the normally conducting zone to grow without bound in cryostabilized superconducting systems with an arbitrary initial temperature profile. The conditions are equivalent to the requirement that a certain functional involving the initial temperature profile be negative
