Percutaneous internal iliac arterial catheterization was performed, followed by super selected catheterization of the feeding artery of the tumor and the bleeding artery. Then anticancer drugs and embolizing agents (lipiodol + gelfoam) were administrated via catheter. The post-procedure follow up was available after the chemo-embolization therapy. Results: Bleeding ceased and the Hb restored in all 26 cases. Clinical symptoms were improved. The tumors shrunk 50%-90% in size. No complication was encountered. Conclusion: The emergent interventional chemo-embolization therapy is a safe and effective treatment of severe hemorrhage of late stage gynecologic tumor
