Electron impact excitation cross sections and effective collision strengths of N atom and N-like ions
Description
The cross sections and/or the effective collision strengths for excitation of N atom and N-like ions by electron impact are reviewed. Main sources for data are listed and the recommended data sources are selected for each ion. The comparison of the cross sections is shown in Graphs. The fit parameters are given for the recommended effective collision strengths in a table; the effective collision strengths calculated therefrom are shown graphically. (author)
