One-body mechanism in electromagnetic knockout reactions
Description
The one-body mechanism in electromagnetic knockout processes is discussed in the frame of the dispersion theory of nuclear reactions and applied to (e,e'p) and (γ,p) scattering cross sections, where the results fit the experimental data. New possible experiments are proposed to check the validity of the direct mechanism. Some corrections to the one-body mechanism and their effects on the electromagnetic reactions are investigated
