Medical aspects of human population and personnel protection in case of accident response

Paper deals with the chronological description of the taken measures linked with medical aspects of safety assurance of the population and of the personnel at the elimination of the accident consequences. Attention is focused on the arrangement of the curative-and-prophylactic aid, on treatment of injured people. Irradiation levels for the population immediately after the accident. Time dose limits of the external and internal irradiation of the population of the contaminated territory, and of the personnel involved in the elimination activities are substantiated. Health of the population of the accident zone is estimated. 4 figs.; 2 tabs
