The path group and interaction of quantum strings

Description
An algebraic approach to the gauge theory of quantum strings based on the path group is briefly described. The two-path group is determined, general description of a string is formulated by means of representations of this group. the proper representations are characterized in detail, that means a detailed description of a two-gauge field and its action on the string. The generalized gauge transformation is investigated. A particular case of a two-gauge field is considered, when it is reduced to a local field
