Strange particle production in νne and ν-barne interactions
Creators
Description
This study compares results with the predictions of the Lund model. The Lund model reproduces remarkably well the details of the hadronization process. This paper concentrates on diquark fragmentation, since this process is not studied experimentally as extensively as single quark fragmentation. Indeed, the study of diquark fragmentation is only accessible in a pristine way in neutrino scattering experiments. In making comparisons to the Lund model, the K0 production data is used to fix the ratio (γ) of s- to u- quarks produced during the quark (string) fragmentation process
