Description
The kinetics of the various thermoluminescence peaks of LiF:Cu is determined in detail by using deconvolution and peak-shape analysis methods. The values of kinetic orders, activation energies and frequency factors are determined with good accuracy and reproducibility for two well-resolved peaks, found at about 460 and 620 K, and with reasonable reliability for three other less intense and resolved peaks at 410, 540 and 590 K. Kinetic orders of all emissions are found to be different from 1 or 2, with the exception of that concerning the 620 K peak which is very close to 1. Activation energies are observed to grow consistently from 0.8 to 2.0 eV with increasing peak temperature. (author)
