Radioactivity computation of steady state and pulsed fusion reactor operation
Description
Various mathematical methods are used to calculate the nuclear transmutation in steady state and pulsed neutron irradiation. These methods are the Schuer decomposition, the eigenvector decomposition and the Pade approximation of the matrix exponential function. In the case of the linear decay chain approximation a simple algorithm is used to evaluate the transition matrices. (orig.)
